...entropy is the lack of order or predictability; gradual decline into disorder. the whole composition is ispired by the high entropy in Karm El Zeitoun and Geitawi; how things are connected and joined together. where there is no transition in between this entropy created a new white space where the clown took place. the clown has a different perspective. everything is circular around him, but he is out of this circles thinking and observing...

 

Elsy Hajjar has directed and shot her first short film "i call it love" in 2013, for which she earned the degree in audio-visual studies at The Holly Spirit University-Lebanon. In the same year, she was part of "Cine-Jam", a filmmaking workshop, where she fully created her 2nd short film "MaKro". For her cinematography and filmmaking are an intense passion that drives every day of her life. She is currently working as a Beirut-based freelance cinematographer while starting to work on her first independent documentary.
