In this dark comedy, a young woman tells the story about the man in her life: he wears a dark suit and carries an umbrella, he never says a word, and has never left her side in four years. And then of course, there's that little habit of his… In the beginning, it almost drove her insane. But as we all know, there are some things in life that are simply here to stay -or at least so we think, or in some cases, we even hope.

Helen Parkes, born and raised in Honolulu and Boston by a Japanese painter and a Scottish philosophy professor. Helen eventually discovered that working with film and mixed-media installations were the most suitable and pleasurable mediums for her ideas. She is currently toying with moving pictures at the Vienna Film Academy, stronghold for the "feel-bad," more linear story-telling but with the aim of still finding a "happy medium."
